I was late today. Am in shock once i entered the studio, Prof Zaida pass me a piece of paper. And guess what? Its a quiz... Oh God! A few question were asked. What is Exposure? Aperture? ISO? White Balance? terms in photography..
After went through my notes, below are the answer :
Exposure - Total amount of light allowed to to get in on folm@image sensor. it can be control by shutter speed & aperture.
Aperture - the diameter of the lens opening and is usually controlled by an iris. The larger the diameter of the aperture, the more light reaches the film / image sensor
ISO - how sensitive the image sensor is to the amount of light present. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the image sensor and therefore the possibility to take pictures in low-light situations.
White Balance - An adjustment of colour.
S-Mode & A-Mode
We hv been expose to the M-mode while using a dslr which we may control both aperture and the shuuter. As for week 4, we learnt an A-mode & S-mode.
A-mode allow us to control the aperture and the shutter will control by camera. Camera will get the best shutter to match with our aperture that we had choosed.
S-mode allow us to control the shutter speed and the apperture will control by camera. Camera will get the best aperture to match with our shutter that we had choosed.
